How I spent 6 Months on the Road with Billy Idol... and Said 5 Words to the Man.
This is a great (and completely true and unembellished) story that highlights a part of the job description of being on the road.
It involves name dropping of rock stars, and destruction of property. In other words: a perfect road story.

A review of the rock band Dorkweed
This is a special treat for the visitors to my website. This is actually not an article so much as it is a review of a band I did for a print publication here in Seattle (now defunct) called "The Snapshot".
It was considered funny enough by the publishers that they actually ran it TWICE. It's an article that seems to capture the essence of a real rock and roll show. It's also a shame that the band Dorkweed now no longer exists, though the lead sincer Brent Amaker now has a couple of new projects around town in Seattle.
So, if you are looking for a good laugh, and really want something that defines rock and roll? This is it.
